2010 China carpet annual meeting

The 2010 China carpet annual meeting was held on 30 November in Liyang Jiangsu Province by The China carpet industry Association under China Arts and Crafts Association. 93 companies and 127 members that belong to Association attended this meeting. The meeting was operated by Mr Tang Guojian ( the Secretary General of China carpet industry Association) and Mr Gao Hong, the Executive vice president emcee the meeting.

This is a very important meeting held between serious world economic crisis and the carpet market situation was recovered, facing extremely complicated social economy developing environment. this meeting lead carpet industry to transfer their commercial carpet eyes to residential carpet. the main comments of this meeting are as below:
First, Ms Zhang Yufen -- the president of the China carpet industry Association under China Arts and Crafts Association summarized all the work of Association in last year, 2010, the carpet quantity between export and import was balanced, even though the carpet amount was not increased for the whole year, as to fit the features of changing market, the amount of nylon carpet was increased and the percent of residential carpet was upgraded, product features becomes more reasonable, the commercial carpet transfer to residential carpet gradually, innovation will become an important key during the companies competition. In addition, Ms Zhang Yufen gave detail summary on 2010 announcement work, for example: make work become standard, advocate environmental protection globe, carry out international discussion, management for carpet Association. As to get achievement on goal of residential carpet, the carpet Association will pay more attention to training more high-caliber people for the marketing of residential carpets next year.

During this meeting, the most important topic the members discussed is how to empolder residential carpet and expand carpet market, carpet Association arranged several companies to share their experience with all members.
